Tuna and Macaroni Toss

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. bow tie macaroni
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 ½ c. whole milk
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube and salt and pepper
  • 1 (7 oz.) can tuna (packed in oil), drained
  • parsley (optional)

Cook macaroni as directed. Sauté onion in margarine until tender. Gradually stir in flour until blended. Gradually stir in milk, bouillon, salt and pepper. Stir until well blended. Stir in tuna. Gently toss in macaroni. Serve in large bowl. Garnish with parsley. Yield: 4 servings, 326 calories per serving with tuna packed in water; 361 calories per serving with tuna packed in oil.
